Meet the Team

Rob Cavill Managing Director

After joining the team in 2016, Rob became Managing Director in May 2019 and now leads the company in its strategic, operational and organisational processes; managing employee engagement and planning and implementing long-term business strategies to achieve the company’s objectives. In his spare time, Rob is a keen musician, Hull City fan and Sunday League footballer, and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Ken Sturdy Executive Chairman

Ken began his career at Spectrum in the 1980’s as a service technician, progressing through service management into sales and general management. Ken has a logical, process driven approach to structuring and growing a customer focused, sales led business, and believes that if the Spectrum team know clearly what they are required to do, believe that it’s right, are able to do it and ultimately want to do it, then spectacular results can be achieved.

Matt Clayphan Finance Director

Matt joined Spectrum in November 2019 after spending 6 years in practice and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. In April 2021, Matt became Finance Director, working closely with management on the strategic direction of the group whilst leading the busy finance team.

Katrina Ellam Service Director

Katrina joined IT@Spectrum 2004 and gained valuable company knowledge by working in various positions within the Finance and Operational functions. After fully qualifying with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Katrina became Finance Director in May 2017 and later Service Director in 2019.

Graham Frankish Sales Director

Graham Frankish is joint Sales Director, providing a wealth of knowledge and support to our growing sales team. Graham joined Spectrum in 1994 and in addition to his sales leadership role, he continues to look after the majority of our corporate clients.

Lee Evans Sales Director

Lee has been with Spectrum for 19 years in sales and sales leadership positions. Lee has an abundance of experience advising organisations on how best to manage their print and improve business processes. Lee is in day-to-day control of the sales team with a particular emphasis on the company’s growth strategy.

Sally is responsible for managing the HR processes within the business including talent identification, recruitment and onboarding, employee engagement, workforce development, performance management, succession planning, policies and procedures, learning & development and training. Sally’s main focus is our people, she has a fair and professional approach and helps to generate and promote wellbeing within the business.

Jane Harper Head of Learning & Development

Jane brings a wealth of expertise to the IT@Spectrum team. Formerly Head of Learning & Development at Canon (UK) Ltd, she has worked with the company for many years and runs many of our innovative in-house training and development programmes.

Neil joined Spectrum as a Business Development Executive in 2013. Neil’s integrity and passion for business and technology means that he is ideally suited to work closely with our customers. Maintaining his passion for health and fitness, Neil continues to train some of his former clients on evenings and weekends, and when he is not in the gym, he loves spending time with his wife and children.

Jon Vernoum Automation Consultant

Jon joined the team in 2016 having previously worked in various roles within the professional print industry. As one of our Automation Consultants, Jon works in the commercial sales environment with a natural lean towards the manufacturing and professional services sectors. Jon is a keen sportsman and can often be found playing golf or on summer cycle rides. Jon retains his passion for football and still wishes he was fit enough to play!

Catherine Hyde Automation Consultant

Catherine has spent the past 6 years in account management and sales consultancy roles. Catherine has experience working in both public and private sectors, advising businesses on best practice, increasing profitability, and generally looking after their best interests. At Spectrum Catherine is an Automation Consultant working with customers to increase effectiveness through digitisation. When she’s not helping customers dive into a more efficient and automated workplace, she is diving headfirst into lots of imagination play with her two children, and beachy walks with her two labs Bella and Murphy.

Dylan Davis Automation Engineer

Dylan has spent his entire working career focused on delivering high quality information/document management and capture solutions. Dylan has a strong knowledge of the power of our solutions and is fully equipped to install, build, and configure your solution to your exact requirements. When he’s not helping clients automate processes you will probably find him either travelling abroad or binge watching a TV show.

Adam Norris Jones Automation Engineer

Adam has spent his entire working career focused on delivering high quality information/document management and capture solutions. Adam has a strong knowledge of the power of our solutions and is fully equipped to install, build, and configure your solution to your exact requirements. When he’s not helping clients automate processes you will probably find him fishing, in the cinema or socialising.

Liam Branagan Automation Engineer

Liam brings significant experience in the delivery of software solutions and is currently studying a degree in Digital Technology Solutions to increase his expertise knowledge in automation and consultancy. When he’s not helping clients automate processes you will probably find him socialising, talking about football, or playing music.

Aaron Brown Senior Account Manager

As a Senior Account Manager, Aaron advises a wide range of organisations on how they can improve their internal business processes, through print and information management. Aaron has been with Spectrum for ten years and has become one of our most consistent and reliable experts. His straight-forward and honest approach makes Aaron a popular Account Manager amongst our customers. In his spare time, Aaron is a keen football fan and Golfer and enjoys travelling with his wife and two sons.

Adrian Lockyer Senior Account Manager

Adrian has been with Spectrum since 1993 and, during this time, has worked in a variety of roles throughout the business. Initially working as a photocopier engineer, Adrian is now one of our most dependable Senior Account Managers, having gained the respect and trust of countless customers over the years. Adrian is a keen Hull City supporter and also enjoys cycling and spending time with his young family.

Steve Woolsey Senior Account Manager

Steve is one of our Senior Account Managers and has worked at Spectrum for over 20 years. With a focus on the Lincolnshire region, and with particular expertise in the Education sector, Steve is a dependable member of the Spectrum family, recognising the importance and value of account and relationship management. In his spare time, Steve is an avid sports fan, with a diverse range of interests including, football, cricket, rugby, darts, Formula 1 and athletics. More recently, Steve has also taken up golf.

Tom Olsson Business Development

Tom joined Spectrum in February 2018. Tom has an academic background, graduating from the University of Central Lancaster with first-class honours in Law with Mediation. He has recently begun his career in sales as our Business Development Executive, his enthusiasm for the Technology sector makes him a great addition to the team. Tom is an active Manchester United fan and a keen sportsman, playing both rugby and football in his spare time.

Sophia Hiley Business Development Executive

Sophia started at Spectrum in September 2019 as part of the Campus programme after completing her A levels. She was in training for a year where she learnt from the current sales team. She graduated from the programme in December 2020 and in her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends.
