Our Spectrum Digital podcast is called ‘Tomorrow’s Workplace, Today’, and this title reflects the culture we adopt across our entire organisation. We’re passionate about social and sustainable change within our company and beyond; we understand that our actions have an impact beyond our immediate business operations, and so we constantly strive to make a positive difference in the world around us. Our dedication to becoming the workplace of the future, for both employees and clients, is ultimately our greatest goal.
Social Responsibility
Inclusivity & Diversity
Neurodiversity.
At Spectrum, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of our values. Part of this is recognising that unique perspectives are paramount to our team’s success, and so we’re committed to promoting neurodiversity in the workplace. Our senior management team have undergone training on how to best support our neurodivergent team members, and we offer accessible and flexible accommodations.
Taking Pride.
We don’t subscribe to a traditional ‘corporate’ culture. Our workforce is made up of a diverse team of people, with a variety of life experiences and backgrounds, and everybody from our apprentices to our Directors is treated equally and fairly. We aim to maintain open and honest conversations at Spectrum, creating a supportive environment that promotes inclusion by allowing the team to speak up and have their voices heard.
Good Mental Health is Wealth
At Spectrum, we recognise that mental health is just as important as physical health. We are committed to promoting wellbeing in the workplace and beyond, and we take our responsibilities in this area very seriously. A number of our employees have trained to become mental health first aiders, receiving specialised and in-depth coaching from HSTS to recognise the early signs of mental illness. We offer single-session counselling with licensed professionals for any staff that needs that extra support, as well as run mindfulness workshops such as meditation.
Local Love
Our organisation is dedicated to uplifting good causes that are close to our hearts. We’re proud sponsors of local sports teams in Hull and the East Yorkshire region, including:
Hull City FC, Hull City Ladies FC, Tigers Trust, East Midlands Motor Club, North Humberside Motor Club, Malton Motor Club, North Ferriby Football Club, Royal Yorkshire Yacht Club, Westella & Willerby FC, Kingswood Utd FC, Hessle Rangers FC, Gainsborough Trinity FC, Hull Chevrons Netball and Springhead FC.
We’re also passionate about philanthropic causes and support various charities such as Macmillan, Mind, Cat Zero, Samaritans and Child Dynamix.
Putting the Planet First
We are proud to announce that we have achieved our ISO14001 Environmental Management Certification.
We recognise the responsibility we have to minimise our environmental impact and the ISO14001 platform is the internationally recognised standard for environmental management. In achieving it, this demonstrates our commitment to sustainable practices, continuous improvement, and responsible resource management.
For our customers, this means:
- Sustainable solutions – we are actively reducing waste, energy use, and emissions throughout our operations.
- Responsible supply chain – we partner with suppliers who share our environmental values.
- Future-focused innovation – our digital automation and document management services are designed to help businesses work more efficiently, cut costs, and reduce their environmental footprint.
With the ISO14001 certification in place, Spectrum is reinforcing its role as a trusted partner for businesses seeking both operational efficiency and environmental responsibility.
This certification is not just a milestone, but part of our ongoing journey to deliver smarter, greener, and more efficient solutions for our customers.
